Tasting in Groningen

Today we went to a culinary event:
Proeven in Groningen (Tasting in Groningen)
There were all kinds of restaurants presenting themselves with lots of yummie and tempting food.

We started out with trying out some local cheeses.

I was tempted by the chocolate mousse, but my owner thought we had to try some other things. (She ate a snail! Ergh....)

More tempting food.

Some of the booths were decorated really beautifully.
Voodoo Bride fell in love with these blossoms.

Hmmmmm, what's this?
Small chili peppers...

Limes...
What food uses both of those?

They turned out to be for a mojito cocktail!
We had one with melon. Very tasty and refreshing.

The best food we had were these mushroom burgers.

After all the tasting we sat down at a restaurant and had hot chocolate.

I had lots of fun and had some really yummie things to eat.

I'm Walking in Sunshine

Today it was amazing weather!

We took advantage of the sun to go into town to take pictures for a secret project (not these, you'll see the secret project pictures later this month) and to just enjoy the sunshine.

I had a great afternoon!

A New Friend and Lots of Pigs

I made a new friend at work today.
This is Tom and he came from a Cabbage Patch he told me. His owner brought him to work so we all could meet him.

What's this, an army of pigs?

These Piggy Bank pigs were waiting for me when I got home from work. They were send to my owner's OtherHalf because he made the illustrations that are painted on their sides.

See!
These piggy banks will be sold at gift stores, so people can buy them as a present for birthdays and other special occassions, like when someone retires from work or gets married and stuff like that.
