Mud Pigs

Yes, I've been quiet for a while.
The above game is to blame as usual ;-)

I did get to play a fun card game as well this week.
Moddervarkens (Mud Pigs)

It's a game about pigs who want to get all muddy, but rain and evil farmers are making them clean again.

I managed to get all my pigs muddy and won the game!

It was really fun!

Some Presents

I had another book in my mail this week.

It was a signed copy op Endgame by Ann Aguirre.
She send it to me in exchange for an honest review.

We also received some presents from friends.
A real Australian Koala and a hippo card. The hippo card is made from wood and you can cut out the hippo and bend it into shape so it can stand. Not sure my owner will allow me to try though, she's afraid it will break.

Finally Another walk to Garnwerd

Yesterday afternoon we finally went on a walk to Garnwerd again.

I spotted a lonely mailbox.
It had stickers on it.

In Garnwerd we stopped for a nice bowl of pumpkin soup.

And a big glass of beer.

On the way back it was to dark to take pictures, but it was a great outing!

Books Galore

My owner has been feeling a bit under the weather the last week, so we've stayed indoors.

We did receive some cool books though!

Melliane send a book for Voodoo Bride.

And Xlacrimax send us a book as a Random Act of Kindness.

Thanks Melliane and Xlacrimax!

Books!!!

Today we received a package from Jeffe!

Jeffe send us three books and a CD she got for us at World Fantasy Con 2012.

One of them is a signed copy of Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs.
Patricia even drew a piggy, because Jeffe told her about me.
How cool is that!?

My owner and I absolutely love Patricia Briggs' books, so we're very happy with this signed copy. The other books and the CD (which has stories on it narrated by Richard Baldwin) look very cool as well.

Thanks Jeffe!

Mail Call

The weather hasn't been all that great lately, so after my post last week I've been mostly indoors reading and playing games.

I did receive some cool mail:

Hammie send me a beautiful card.

and I received two books!
The Dead of Winter is a Random Act of Kindness gift from Samantha. It's a Western with vampires as far as I understand.
I'm not sure who send me the other book, although I can make an educated guess. Ten is a Young Adult retelling of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. looking forward to see if it's just as suspenseful.

Thanks everyone!
