Is the rollercoaster there because of the Kei Week? I was in Groningen too yesterday, I'll make a post about it tonight... Did you make a ride in the rollercoaster?
That's a neat looking mini rollercoaster (and it doesn't look very mini from that picture. The "mini" ones here just go in a circle and they're for kids.)I had to look up "Gronings Ontzet." You guys have the most interesting holidays and cool history.
In 1672, Colorado (where I live) was still just inhabited by Native Americans and bison, and was about to be claimed by the French in 1682.
That is pretty cool. I don't know if I would want to go on a mini-roller coaster though-- I think a big part of the safety of them is how well they are connected to the ground!
I'm part of a large family of pigs.
We all live with my owner in Groningen, the Netherlands.
I travel a lot with my owner and I post stories and pictures of my life and travels on my blog. I also have a blog where I post book reviews.
