Behind me you can see how old buildings (right) and new ones are build close together. In the distance, between the building you can see the Martinitoren (Martini tower) again.
Don't forget....

As I told you last saturday we found Coco in a large garden center and we brought him home with us as he seemed like a really nice bird.
He turned out to be a really cool bird indeed and he happens to share my love for blogging. He started his own blog today which you can find here. Be sure to check it out!
We went out for a nice walk this afternoon as it finally stopped raining.
here you can see Coco and me with the entering sign of Groningen.
One of the first things we saw when we entered the garden center was this large collection of piggy banks!
They also had lots of plants ofcourse. I felt like I was in a jungle from time to time.
I encountered this mysterious pond which had a snail and a ladybug in it.
She even had a small diorama with a tree thingie that was just my size.

There was a lot of bright light, so I look a bit too bright, but don't you think the hippo statue looks cool!?
Today we went shopping again , so I thought it was time to show you the largest shopping street in Groningen: the 'Herestraat'.
Next month they're going to start on a renovation project in our neighbourhood. Behind me you can see the containers they placed in our street and that they're going to use during the renovation. I'm not happy about the renovation as it means we'll have to move to another house temporarily while they renovate our house. Luckily that won't happen until next year.
Well, spring is here and that means bye bye Snowdrops...
They're only blooming for a short time in late winter unfortunately.
But it being spring means that soon there'll be Lady's Smock and other pretty spring flowers.
And now a picture especially for Marie:
Meet Ellie!
Ellie is another one of my housemates and she's shy, but really nice. In the evening, just before bedtime, Ellie always joins us to listen to Gavin's stories.
