Blueberries and work

Yesterday evening we went to the grocerystore and I discovered they have blueberries there!
My owner promised she's going to try to make a blueberry pie when she has the time, so I hope to be able to post pictures of that soon.
Today we had to work again and in our break my owner bought a burger with the name 'Mexicano'. Now I must say I doubt this means it was a burger made out of a mexican, so I didn't eat any of it just in case it would have made me a cannibal if I did.

It was quiet today so after our lunchbreak I tried to take a nap, but it's hard when someone closeby is tapping on a keyboard.

And again we took a picture on our way home.

To work or not to work

Those people who haven't checked out my cousin Boo yet: get over to For the Love of Goth , Eve Noir posted even more pictures and a story on him.

For me it was another workday today. I started out just relaxing in my owner's bag, but when that got boring I got out and helped with keeping track of how many emails she'd answered.

Checking myself out in the mirror. They employ sheep at the company where we work, so I keep hoping one day they'll hire another pig (female this time) and when that day comes I want to look my best.

This picture was taken on our way home.
I love it when it gets dark and the lights go on everywhere.

Clearing up something that's unclear at the moment and some other things

It has come to my attention that not everyone is familiar with the term OH.
OH is short for 'Other Half', so when I'm talking about my owner's OH, I'm talking about her partner.
Next some cool news:
One of my followers, Eve Noir, is the owner of one of my distant cousins!
She posted a picture on her blog (that I'm following)
So get over there to say hi to another McPig.
Now some pictures about my day:
I found the suggestionbox at my work today, so I might give them some suggestions about improving the workingcircumstances for their small employees.
My owner got me some candy in one of our breaks

Another picture at home: The mug collection of my owner's OH.

One of the cross stitchings of my owner.
I'm glad she hasn't tried to see if pants like that look good on me or my brothers as I wouldn't want to be seen wearing them.

Work, work, work.... all I do is work.

Today we helped out at the cateringservice again.
Cleaning the plates of the coolingunit.

An overview of our worktable (you can see the coolingunits behind the table)

Me waiting for my owner to finish sweeping the floor.

My home and other stuff

This is the frontdoor of my home.

The many games of my owner and her OH.

The computer area.
(If you want you can play 'find the hippos', as there are many of them in this picture)

Me sitting warm and safe in my owner's bag

And another picture of me examining moss.

Introducing some of the housemates

As there are lots of other animals and creatures living in the same house as me and my brothers I'd like to introduce you to some of them.
This is Hannelore, a very nice german lady who has just one major flaw: She's not a pig!

This is Travis, one of the many hippos. Travis is a nice guy, he even likes to watch a scary movie from time to time (he hides behind a pillow when it gets too scary for him), but it can be depressing to be in his company for too long.

And this is Chief Hairy Pig.
His hobbies are smoking, telling stories and collecting scalps (well, kidding about the scalps ofcourse, he's a peace chief, not a war chief).
And in case you're wondering about the name Hairy Pig: If you'd ever see him without his blanket you'd understand. Not a pretty sight I can tell you.

A Long Healthy Walk

As the weather was still good and no rain was predicted for today we went on a long walk.
Getting some exercise by climbing a tree.

Hekkum is one of the villages we walked through on our trip.

Here I am trying to take a picture with the camera of my owner's OH.

A short rest.

The bench was in honor of a family that donated money to help protect the nature of Groningen.

Checking out the moss that was growing on the bench.

An overview of the landscape we walked through.

The mill of Garnwerd, the far end of our trip.
Here we took a break at a restaurant for a drink before going back to Groningen.

Me and my owner.

Sampling the drinks of my owner and her OH (above and below)

Can I get there by candlelight?

And some pictures taken outside the restaurant:

Blogs, Liquorice and Games

Yesterday evening I have been at the computer managing my blog and looking at my favourite blogs.
My owner had me pose for a picture of me at the computer and of me with my blog (that one turned out a bit blurry as you can see below).

The embarrassing moment of the evening was when my owner's OH caught me sneaking some liquorice from the candyjar.

I just can't help it, liquorice is one of my favourite candies.

Later in the evening we went to a birthdayparty where we played games.
Here we were playing Deathtrap Dungeon.

Cockroach Soup and some places in Groningen

Yesterday we watched Madagascar 2 and after that we tried out the new game.
It's a fun game, but also confusing at times and as you got to respond very fast you have little time to think.
Today it was finally dry outside so we went out for a short trip.

This is a statue that's in the park close to my home. We always go through the park on our way to the grocerystore.

This is one of the churches in Groningen. It's commonly known as the 'Nieuwe Kerk' (New Church). There's a lawn around it were people come to play games and sit in the sun in summer. I think it's a beautiful place.

A strange musical creature

My owner got a package today and it contained a very strange creature!

It kind of looked like a frog or a toad, but it had a strange wooden stick in its body.

It turned out that it was some sort of musical frog.

You can take the stick out and when you rake it across the back of the frog it makes a croaking sound. Fun and strange.

Tv and games

Yesterday was just another regular officeday and nothing interesting happened to tell you about.
I did watch television yesterday evening:
Deadliest Catch and after that I watched True Blood.

Today we went to a store which sells games and puzzles to see if we could find a fun new game.

And we did find one:
Cockroach Soup
